Description
Dolcoed is a former vicarage built in 1867. It is constructed from Cilgerran stone and features one and a half storeys with an imitation slate roof, designed in an L-shape. The front roof has three large, asymmetrical corniced ridge stacks of varying heights, along with one stack at the rear. The building stands on a raised plinth.
The north front has a central gable that breaks the eaves, featuring one window, while the ground floor has three symmetrical windows, all of which are 12-paned horned sashes with a segmental pointed design. The east gable end includes two windows on each floor, with smaller 6-pane sash windows to the left on both levels. There is a 2-pane window on the first floor to the left. The west gable end has two similar windows above and one below. To the right of the front, there is a six-panelled door with a three-pane overlight. The southwest rear wing has one window on the ground floor. The rear wing features an east outshut that meets a similar roof at the southeast corner of the main house. At the rear of the wing, there is one first-floor window, a 12-pane stair light at mid-level, and a 6-pane window below. A 20th-century porch has been added.
Inside, the three rooms on the north side have interior shutters, ceilings that are panelled with raised timber strips, and plain marble fireplaces.
