Description
This is a shop located in Capel Bangor, built with painted stucco and a slate roof. It features a broad gable front adorned with bargeboards and uniquely shaped quoins. The timber shopfront includes a large central pointed loft window on the first floor, which is set in a rusticated surround with a keystone. The window has glazing with a cross mullion, two large opening casements, and fixed top lights, all with small panes and marginal bars.
The shopfront consists of a frame that holds two plate-glass panes on either side of a recessed door, which has a single angled pane. The double doors are half-glazed and topped with a large overlight. The outer piers of the shopfront are decoratively panelled and capped with Gothic gables on paired shaped brackets. A fascia and cornice run between the piers, and the side walls are made of rubble stone.
