Description
Ty'r Eglwys is a two-storey house dating from the 19th century, located to the west of a former school, which is listed separately. The building is constructed of rubble stone and features a three-window facade. The first floor has three windows with stone voussoirs above their flat heads; these are two-light windows with cast-iron diamond latticing, where one side of each window opens only. The ground floor windows are similar but consist of three lights with three square top lights, all with slate sills. The front door is from the 20th century and has a filled-in overlight. A narrow red brick chimney with three chimney-pots is present on the roof. The slate roof has a steep pitch that matches the school roof and retains some crested ridge tiles. The west gable end has bracketed eaves and no windows. At the rear, there is a 20th-century conservatory attached.
