Description

8 Quay Parade is a simple classical building dating from the 18th century. It is two storeys high and features a two-window front that is rendered. The ends of the building have rusticated long and short quoins. The slate roof has narrow eaves and there is one rubble chimney stack that has been heightened in brick.

The building has lugged architraves with ornamental keystones framing plain two-pane sash windows, as well as recessed entrances located towards the centre. The entrances have two-panelled doors topped with rectangular fanlights. The right end wall is plain rubble.
