Description
Trafalgar is a simple classical building dating from the 18th century, featuring three storeys with roughcast fronts. The structure has framing with rusticated quoins, cill bands, and plinths, topped by a slate roof and three chimney stacks, one of which is cement rendered and two are brick. The wide bracketed eaves enhance its classical appearance.
The front of No 6 has two windows, while No 7 has three windows, including one for 7a. No 6 features small-pane pivot and sash glazing, whereas Nos 7 and 7a have sash windows without glazing bars. Both have lugged architraves and keystones.
A later wooden projecting neo-Georgian porch is present at No 6, which includes a modern panelled door, a five-pane fanlight, and panelled reveals. No 7 has a central segmental arched recess, possibly a former coaching entrance, with lugged architraves. This has been later divided into two doorways, each with modern part-glazed doors and fanlights. Additionally, there is an iron railing with finials leading to the basement steps.
