Description

Haulfan comprises a pair of simple classical buildings, each with three storeys and a three-window frontage, dating to the 18th century. The exterior of number 10 is roughcast, while number 11 has a scribed render finish. Both buildings feature rusticated quoins, plinths, and a cill band to number 10. The roofs are slate-covered with wide boarded eaves and brackets to number 10, and there are three rubble chimney stacks. The second-floor centre windows are absent, with a blocked opening and remaining cill at number 10 and a concealed opening at number 11. All windows have plain reveals, with number 11's windows set in lugged architraves featuring ornamental keystones. Number 10 has modern windows on the second floor, 12-pane sash windows with broad stucco hoodmoulds on the first floor, and a 2-pane sash window on the ground floor. Number 11 has 9-pane sash windows on the second floor and 12-pane sash windows on the ground and first floors. The central entrance to number 10 is framed by a lugged architrave with inset pebbledash decoration and has a recessed half-glazed door. The central entrance to number 11 has a lugged architrave with a keystone and a recessed three-panel door.
