Description

This is a double-fronted building, likely dating from the 18th century, situated at 3 Penuwch Street. It is constructed of rubble stone, originally whitewashed, and has a slate roof. Two stone chimney stacks are present; a large one on the left, shared with the adjacent building at No. 2, and a smaller one on the right, both rebuilt in the 20th century. The building has one and a half storeys, with 20th-century windows throughout. The lower windows and the central door are topped with stone slab lintels, while the upper windows have been raised into stone dormer gables in the 20th century, also having stone or slate lintels. Stone sills are present. The centre door is ledged. The building shares continuous stonework with No. 2 on its left-hand side.
