Description

This is a red painted cast-iron telephone call box located to the west of the Foelallt Arms. It has a square plan and features horizontal glazing bars and marginal bars on two sides. The third side has a wooden-frame door with similar iron glazing, while the rear is blank. A plaque from the Lion Foundry Co. Ltd in Kirkintilloch is present. Above the door, there are red-lettered translucent panels beneath a shallow square domed roof designed in the Soanian style, with a George VI crown in each lunette.
