Description
Neuadd is a two-storey house built in 1758, constructed from whitewashed rubble stone with slate roofs and 20th-century whitewashed brick end stacks. The main range features three windows with horned sashes, including 2-pane sashes on the upper floor and 4-pane sashes on the lower floor, all set with slate sills and stone slab lintels. The central entrance has a 4-panel door with an overlight above it, and a date plaque stating, "David Daniel built this house 1758."
To the right of the main house is a lower service range, which includes a cambered-headed door on the left, featuring stone voussoirs, and a 4-pane sash window to the right with a stone slab lintel. Above this, there is a larger horned 4-pane sash. Adjacent to this is an added lean-to that has two ledged doors beneath a single timber lintel. On the left side of the main house, there is an added lofted stable that matches the roof height of the main building. This stable has a large upper boarded loft door in the center, a plank door to the ground floor on the right, and a small boarded window on the left, both with brick heads.
