Description
This is a single-storey cottage located at the entrance to Cilerwysg, built from whitewashed rubble. The cottage has a corrugated-iron roof that conceals thatch underneath, and features boarded projecting eaves. There is a rubble gable chimney stack on the right side, while the left chimney has been removed. The front of the cottage has three bays, which are offset to the right. It includes two-light, four-pane casements and a boarded central door, all with timber lintels. The left end has two small windows on either side of a central blocked door, which likely replaced a fireplace. The left gable is covered with overlapping iron sheets, and the right gable end is partly collapsed, featuring a ruined addition that includes some red brick. There is also a window at the rear of the cottage.
The interior was not inspected. The condition of the cottage was deteriorating at the time of inspection in January 1996.
