Description
The former factory at Troed y Rhiw is a small, two-unit building that is single-storey with an attic. It is built from lime-washed rubble stone resting on boulder footings and is topped with an old slate roof, featuring a stone stack at the right end. The central entrance has a boarded door, and to the right, there is a three-light iron-glazed window, both of which are set under segmental brick heads. The eastern gable end includes a narrowed full-height opening with part of a segmental brick head, indicating that the original opening was wider, although its purpose is unknown. There is also a single-light wooden casement in the gable that provides light to the attic storey. The southern side of the building is only partially visible but appears to have two window openings, with at least one featuring wooden shutters.
