Description
The outbuilding at the Old Rectory is a lofted structure made of random slate blocks, which were previously lime-washed, and it is topped with a slate roof. The building features boarded doors, and most of the ground floor openings have segmental brick heads. On the left side of the center, there is a single door, with a 4-pane wooden window to its right; however, this elevation is partially obscured by vegetation on the left. To the right of the center, there are double boarded doors beneath a long timber lintel, with a loft hatch located above. The north gable end includes a single-storey lean-to that was formerly a kennel, with a pig sty at the rear; it has a short door at the front under a segmental brick head. The south gable end features a door and a window above, both framed with red brick and having segmental heads. Access to the interior was not available at the time of inspection.
