Description
Ty-newydd Farmhouse is a symmetrically fronted farmhouse dating from the 19th century, featuring 2½ storeys and three windows. The front is constructed of handmade red brick and has a dentilled cornice, while the rear is made of local grey/brown stone in an uncoursed style. The gable walls are rendered and scored to resemble stone courses. The roof is slate with a tile ridge and brick end chimneys, and there is a later open-fronted brick porch.
The upper front windows are horned sash type with four panes, while the lower windows are similar but have six panes. The openings are unaltered, featuring brick arches and no sills. There are attic windows in the gables, and the rear elevation includes three small-pane windows above and below in unaltered openings with brick arches, with a door located on the left side.
The interior has not been seen.
