Description
Western Farmhouse is a farmhouse from the early 19th century, featuring two storeys and attics. The front is made of white brick that has been colour-washed, while the sides and rear are constructed of red brick. The roof is covered with mid-20th century concrete pantiles. The building has a wide eaves overhang with a mutule cornice. There are end chimney stacks positioned within the gables, which are flanked by attic windows that are old three-light casements with segmental arches to their frames and surrounds.
The front of the farmhouse is accented by plain full-height pilasters, and the central section slightly projects forward. It has a three-window range, with small-paned sash windows set in flush frames, also featuring segmental arches. The central window is recessed within a segmental arched recess. The entrance door is panelled with six sunk panels and applied mouldings, topped by a fanlight with radiating glazing bars. The door is flanked by reeded pilasters and has panelled linings, topped with an open triangular pediment.
