14 Lamb & Flag Cottages (Gwaunclawdd)

14 Lamb & Flag Cottages is a terraced house dating from the 19th century, featuring painted render and slate roofs with close eaves. The original part of the building is two storeys high and has two windows. On the upper floor, there are two 12-pane hornless sash windows, while the ground floor has a centre 16-pane cambered-headed sash window and a 6-panel door with an overlight to the left. All windows and the door were restored around 2000, at which time a matching one-window range was added to the right. This new section has a slightly lower roof and is set back from the original part. It includes a rendered end stack and features a 12-pane sash window above a 16-pane sash window, mirroring the original range. There is also a 12-pane sash window on each floor of the end wall, and all windows have tooled stone sills.

At the rear, there is a parallel range that extends behind No 12, constructed of thin coursed rubble stone with a slate roof. This section has two 12-pane sash windows above and one centre 16-pane sash window below, all with cambered heads and stone voussoirs. Additionally, there is a gabled single-storey outbuilding to the right, positioned at right angles and shared with No 12. The property has not been inspected.
