Description
The Laundry House at Llangoed Hall is a single-storey building that features a pebbledashed exterior and a hipped tile roof. The south facade is designed with strict symmetry, showcasing a central glazed door that is sheltered by a bracketed canopy. Flanking the door are three 12-pane hinged windows on each side, all equipped with boarded shutters. At the top of the building, there is a louvred ventilator with a swept copper-clad roof and a ball finial at the apex, complemented by a tall brick stack that rises from the rear wall.
Adjacent to the laundry, positioned at the edge of the carriage circle, are two minor gate piers constructed from snecked rock-faced rubble. These piers feature a moulded base, necking, and cornice, and they support a ball finial on a stepped base.
