Description
The building is a farm range located southeast of Court Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century. It stands two storeys high and consists of five bays, which include a threshing barn as well as lambing and shearing bays. The structure is timber-framed and weatherboarded, resting on a rubble plinth. It features massive tie beam roof trusses with diagonal braces and timber-framed partitions made from re-used timbers. The north gable end is constructed of stone and includes slit ventilators and a pitching door, topped with a slate roof.
On the rear (east) side, there is an iron lean-to roof covering a timber-framed cattle stall that is built against the barn's rear wall. Adjacent to the south of the barn range is a three-bay cartshed with a granary above. This section also has a slate roof, weatherboarded loft, slatted pitching doors, and timber posts supporting its open front.
