Description
The Harp Inn is a two-storey building with an attic and cellar, featuring rear extensions that have catslide roofs and modern flat-roofed dormers. The roof is covered with stone tiles, and there is a ridge stack along with an offset end stack made of modern brick. The front left side has a boarded door, and the original section of the building includes 19th-century cross-pattern chamfered-frame windows with metal casements.
The rear wall displays large panel timber-framing, and there is a partition wall to the right of the former cross-passage. This partition has been mostly cut through on the ground floor, but one chamfered and stopped door-frame remains. The left-hand end room on the ground floor features scroll-stopped beams and a large fireplace lined with rubble, which includes a brick bread oven. The floors throughout are stone flagged, and on the first floor, there is an exposed beam with a deep chamfer and step stop.
