Description

Complex building of several main building periods from C17 to early C20. The entrance block is 3 storeys 3 windows wide, brickwork of 2 periods, hipped tiled roof with wide eaves, tall brick stacks with stepped cornices (one mid-roof stack), stone wall footings. Modern 3-light window frames, top storey rising through eaves, lower storeys with cambered brick heads. Open timberwork porch under tiled hood.

Side elevation to north of 2 bays with return gablet through eaves to right, windows and dummies with freestone keyblocks. Timber studding to half-hipped rear gable. Lower C17 block of 2 storeys with cross wing to right, old brickwork with rectangular hood moulds in brick. Steep tiled roofs, central stack with brick stem, curved bargeboards, wide eaves. Modern 3 light casements to left, 2-light openings to right (blocked to gable and W side. Further extensions to south.
