Lower Broad Heath Farmhouse

Lower Broad Heath Farmhouse is a complex building that has several main construction periods ranging from the 17th century to the early 20th century. The entrance block is three storeys high and three windows wide, featuring brickwork from two different periods. It has a hipped tiled roof with wide eaves and tall brick chimney stacks with stepped cornices, including one stack located mid-roof. The building sits on stone wall footings and has modern three-light window frames, with the top storey rising through the eaves and the lower storeys having cambered brick heads. There is an open timberwork porch beneath a tiled hood.

The north side elevation consists of two bays and has a return gablet through the eaves on the right side. This elevation features windows and dummies with freestone keyblocks, and timber studding is visible on the half-hipped rear gable. There is a lower 17th-century block that is two storeys tall with a cross wing to the right, showcasing old brickwork with rectangular hood moulds made of brick. The roofs are steeply pitched and tiled, with a central stack that has a brick stem, curved bargeboards, and wide eaves. The left side has modern three-light casements, while the right side has two-light openings that are blocked to the gable and west side. There have been further extensions added to the south.
