Description

The Temple is a building from the early to mid 19th century, featuring two storeys and a three-window front, with a return gable to the right and a parallel range at the rear. It has older origins and is constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings, topped by shallow slate roofs with wide eaves. A rubble chimney breast is located on the left, with a single diagonal brick stem, while four diagonal brick chimneys are grouped to the right. The building has sash windows with glazing bars set in flush frames, and a trellised porch supported by plain columns that leads to a six-panel door. There is a modern one-storey lean-to extension on the rear gable end.
