Description

The Barley Mow Public House is a mid-19th century building featuring a twin-gabled, two-storey front made of stucco, which covers earlier construction. It showcases Tudor Gothic detailing, with slate roofs and cusped bargeboards, the lower one being on the left side. The front has two 2-light mullioned and transomed windows that have chamfered reveals and rectangular drip moulds, with small-paned sashes behind the transoms. The left side of the building is made of rubble, while the rear includes a long range constructed of brick and corrugated iron. There is also a stone stack with diagonal brick stems.
