Description

8 Hereford Street is a two-storey building that dates from the early to mid-19th century. The frontage is divided into two parts, featuring a gable end at the corner with Back Lane. The left side has a painted brick front with one window, a slate roof, and eaves that extend to the adjoining property at No. 7. It includes a brick chimney stack and sash windows with glazing bars.

The earlier gabled section has a rubble and rendered front, also with two storeys and one window. This part has a slate roof covered in bitumen, adorned with bargeboards and a pendant. Above an offset timber door, there is a single two-light casement window with a cornice above. Additionally, there are two three-light casement windows on the elevation facing Back Lane.
