Description

The Price Monument is a polished red granite obelisk dating from the 19th century. It features a stepped granite plinth and a pedimented stem, all set on a stone pedestal. The north face of the monument is inscribed with leaded lettering that reads: "This Public Monument was erected by subscription to perpetuate the memory of Sir Richard Green Price, 1st Baronet, Born 1803 - Died 1887, whose services to the County of Radnor will long outlive his name etc."
