Description

The Conwy war memorial is a simple granite obelisk that features a rock-faced surface with margin drafting. It is positioned on a stepped plinth, where the lower step is made of reconstituted stone, previously part of a sundial, while the upper two steps display commemorative inscriptions in Welsh and English on the north and west sides. The obelisk consists of two pieces above the square base and includes relief roundels featuring the borough seal near the bottom and a Celtic cross near the top. Additionally, there is a bronze wreath on the north side.
