Description

Cadnant Bridge is a 19th-century single carriageway viaduct consisting of three bays, spanning a deep railway cutting. It is constructed from rubble stone with tooled dressings. The bridge features tall piers with continuous chamfers leading to round arches. Above the central arch, there is a blank shield on each face. The parapet has round-backed tooled copings and is elevated above the central arch. The terminal piers, which were partly overgrown at the time of the survey, are rectangular, and the copings have been removed. Attached at each end are rubble-stone walls.
