Description
The lych-gate to Christ Church Parish Church features rubble walls with stone dressings, supporting open timber-framed arcades that carry an open raftered tiled roof topped with prominent gable crosses. The roof is supported by cambered tie beams with bracketed crown post struts, and the ties are inscribed on their outer faces with simple lettered inscriptions. The external gates have pierced trefoils and inserted iron fleurs. Inside the porch, there are timber coffin rests on either side.
