Description
The lych gate to Christ Church, built around 1904, is likely designed by William and Segar Owen. It features a timber frame supported by stone side walls and has a stone slate roof. The structure is three bays deep, with two bays on the stone walls and the eastern bay left open. The roof includes cambered tie beams and a collar, all of which are panelled at the eastern end, with moulded posts resting on stone pads. The bargeboards are decorated, and the two western bays contain openings with traceried timber lights and heads. The gates are from the late 20th century.
