Description
Bryn-Derwen Lodge is a 17th-century house that has been converted into two cottages. It features a timber frame with colourwashed rendered infilling and a modern tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of two bays, following a Type A plan. There is a boarded door located under a pent roof, positioned opposite the gable stack.
The framing consists of four panels high and includes a heavy mid-wall bressumer. The windows are made of timber and are paned. The framing is painted on the rendered gable. The roof is a double purlin design.
The entrance to No. 2 is found within a 20th-century conservatory that is attached to the west gable end. At the rear, there is a large stone stack.
