Description
Pen y Parc is a timber-framed building featuring square panels with tension braces at angles, along with a painted brick plinth and nogging. It has a slate roof and a compact two-unit plan. The central entrance is a baffle entrance located in a timber gabled porch, which dates to around 1850. This porch has a chamfered archway and a battened plank inner door. On either side of the entrance, there are two-light casement windows with bracketed hoods, a design characteristic of the Vaynor Estate. Above, framed dormers with similar windows are aligned. The building has an axial brick stack with a square base and clustered octagonal flues, and there is a small rubble stone outshut at the rear.
