Description

The Farmhouse is a 17th century timber-framed building with a slate roof, featuring a brick end wall and axial stacks. It has a box frame design with square panels, a continuous middle rail, some tension bracing, and plastered panel infill. The house is one and a half storeys tall and has a long three-unit plan with a baffle entry positioned against the axial stack. The entrance is located in a timber gabled porch that includes an arched doorway. The building has 2-light casement windows, some of which are recent insertions that respect the integrity of the framing. Additionally, there are small gabled dormers with 2-light casements and scalloped bargeboards.
