Description

The Cottage is a late example of timber framed construction, likely dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features box framing in square panels with tension braces at angles, painted brick nogging, and a slate roof. The building has a single unit plan and is one and a half storeys high. There is a baffle entry against the gable end stack, a plank doorway, and a two-light casement window with a transom. Additionally, there is a small gabled dormer within the roof.
