Description

This is a house, originally built as a pair, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and brick infill, though much of the brick is now hidden behind colour-washed roughcast render, which reveals some of the original timber framing. The roof is slate, with clay ridge tiles. The house has a four-room plan, arranged over two storeys. The south elevation has four two-light casement windows on each floor, all with glazing bars. There are two plank doors and two brick stacks along the ridge of the roof. The building is notable as a good example of late timber framing.
