Smithy at the corner of the Abermiwl and Churchstoke roads

The building is a smithy located at the corner of the Abermiwl and Churchstoke roads, dating from the 19th century. It is constructed of rubble with brick dressings and has slate roofs. The structure has a cross plan, is one storey high with an attic, and features gabled ends on each face. The gables have deep verges and intricately carved bargeboards that end in spikes at both the apex and eaves.

There is a boarded door situated in the northeast angle, which is sheltered by a lean-to roof. The smithy has two pointed-headed window openings formed by two chamfered orders of brick, each containing small 24-pane windows with glazing bars that intersect at the pointed heads. A central octagonal stack with eight flues is linked to the building.

At the rear, the eastern wing extends as a single-storey service range, which includes a central brick stack.
