Description
The Old Mill, formerly known as New Mill House, is a Grade II listed building. It consists of two parts, with the taller and earlier section on the right featuring three windows, while the left part has two windows. The building has two storeys with rubble walls; the upper floor on the left is weatherboarded, and there are partly blocked openings also covered with weatherboarding. The right side has a stone slab roof with a steeper pitch, while the left side has a slate roof. At the centre where the roofs join, there is a stone stack with a brick stem.
The front of the building has five modern paired casements and additional modern timber openings on the ground floor. An open work timber stair leads up to a balcony at the gable end facing the river.
At the rear, there is a three-storey range with a stone-slab roof and rubble walls, along with stone-slabbed lean-tos in the angle.
