Vronlase (The Old Farmhouse)

Vronlase, also known as The Old Farmhouse, is an L-plan building featuring three separate roof lines that create two distinct blocks connected by a linking section. The exterior is constructed of coursed rubble with remnants of limewash, primarily covered by slate roofs, although the northern wing has some tin sheeting. There are signs of blocked doors and windows, and one chimney stack remains in the corner of the southern wing, with a reduced brick upper section. The southern side of the northern wing has a raised roof line, while the northern side features a larger dormer projection that may be a capped chimney stack.

The western front was remodeled in the mid-19th century, showcasing a three-window range, a central four-panel door, and an open porch supported by chamfered posts with a slate canopy. The porch also has decorative bargeboards and ridge cresting. The windows on this side are twelve-pane sash windows with dressed stone surrounds and cills. The northern range includes late 19th and 20th-century large-pane sashes with brick dressings.

The interior has not been examined in detail due to limited access and some structural collapse. However, it features substantial square-panel timber-framed partition walls, stop-chamfered beams, a dog-leg stair with turned balusters, and 18th-century two-panel doors.
