Description

This is a late 18th century turnpike milestone located opposite Y Dderw. It is made of laminated sandstone and features a rounded top. The milestone, which was formerly painted, has incised lettering that reads:

HAY / 7 / (B)UILTH / 12.

Additionally, the top of the milestone has an incised bench mark arrow. This milestone is included as a monument to the turnpike era of road transport.
