Baskerville Hall Hotel (formerly known as Clyro Court)

Baskerville Hall Hotel, formerly known as Clyro Court, is a large building with a square plan and a lower service range to the north-west. It features ashlar stonework with pronounced vermiculated quoins, string courses, and ornate gables topped with ball finials. The north-east front has a colonnaded porch, while the south elevation boasts stone balconies with bulbous balusters. The windows are drop cill sash windows, with some being tripartite in shallow bays, and the roof is pitched and covered with slate.

The main block of the building retains fine original detailing throughout. It includes a large entrance hall with panelled archways, an Imperial cantilevered stone staircase with ironwork balustrading, and a colonnaded gallery landing. Above the staircase is a coved ceiling with a lantern. The principal ground floor rooms feature decorative plaster ceilings, cornice mouldings, marble chimneypieces, and panelled shutters. The former library is largely panelled and includes glass-fronted and open bookshelves.
