Description
Ceunant is a farmhouse built in the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick in an irregular bond and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys, an attic, and a large cellar, following a 'T'-plan layout with a central stair hall, flanked by reception rooms, and a service wing at the rear. There is a short bay in the re-entrant angle.
The entrance has a part-glazed door set within a small added porch. The windows are sixteen-paned sashes, with the boxes set well forward and surrounded by moulded architraves, all within openings that have half-brick segmental heads. The house also features three pitched dormers, gable stacks, and raised gables that are finished with bricks stepped at each course and slightly oversailing. The eaves are adorned with brick dentils.
