Description
The Grange is a farmhouse built in the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof with brick coped tumbled gables and two gable stacks. The building is two stories high with attics and has a five-bay front that includes brick bands at the first and second floors, as well as a parapet. The layout is L-shaped. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door with a plain overlight and a pediment supported by slender columns, flanked by pairs of glazing bar sash windows. The first floor has five similar windows, all of which have segmental brick heads. There are also two segmental-headed glazing bar dormers with leaded cheeks.
