Description
Broneirion Lodge is a Gothic-style cottage ornée, built with rock-faced stone and limestone dressings, topped with a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has an 'L'-shaped plan. The entrance is located in the re-entrant angle and features an elaborate timber-framed porch with dentilled and perforated panels supported by brackets, which is under a hipped extension of the roof of the wing. The windows vary in design, with some set in moulded arches and others featuring relieving arches with moulded terracotta bricks infilling the spandrel. There is a square bay window in the advanced gable to the right. The eaves are deeply projecting and supported by closely spaced cut brackets, with the roof extending over the gables on arch-braced brackets, and it is slightly hipped. Additionally, there is one raised dormer. The property was not accessible at the time of inspection.
