Description

This is a statue and pedestal dedicated to David Davies of Llandinam, classified as a significant heritage item. The statue features a standing bronze figure of David Davies dressed in everyday clothing, with his left foot forward as he examines a plan for the dock and railway development at Barry. The figure is positioned on a tall square plinth made of limestone, which has a broad cornice made of granite. One side of the plinth bears the inscription "DAVID DAVIES 1818-1890."
