Description

5 Trelonydd is part of a symmetrical pair of single-storey cottages built in a simple Arts and Crafts style. The cottages feature roughcast render over brick and have slate roofs with slightly projecting gablets supported by moulded brackets at each gable apex. The roofs also have tiled copings and rendered axial and rear stacks. Each cottage has a two-unit plan with a small rear wing. The main entrance is located at the outer angle, highlighted by a battered buttress. The entrances consist of plank doors with small glazed lights framed by simple moulded architraves. The windows are flush-framed small-paned casements, arranged in two and three lights.
