Description

Bron-y-rhiw Cottage is a two-storey building from the late 19th century, featuring roughcast walls and a slate roof. The cottage has three bays and is symmetrical around a central door, which is set within a later lean-to porch. On either side of the door are late 19th-century three-light timber cross windows with lead-paned glazing and painted wedge lintels. Above the door is a narrower blind window recess that is painted with glazing bars. The roof is pyramidal, with a central stack, and there is a lean-to structure at the right end. The property was not accessible during the inspection in September 1996.
