Description
The building at Fron-uchaf Farm serves as a barn, cowhouse, and cartshed. It is constructed of stone and features a corrugated asbestos cement roof. The timber framing is exposed above the plate level on the gable end. The north side, which faces the farmyard, was originally mostly timber framed with brick infill, but much of this was replaced with red brick in the 19th to early 20th century. The section closest to the road is made of stone and functions as a cartshed, with an additional opening at the west end. The south side, facing the garden, has two tiers of ventilation slits. The gable end includes a tie beam, queen struts, and a collar that supports a single tier of purlins. Surrounding the front garden to the east and south is a stone wall with a stone-on-edge coping and a central gate.
