Description

The lychgate to the Church of Saint Mary Magdalene is a robust Gothic Revival structure, built with a timber frame and a clay-tiled roof. The simple pegged frame includes a longitudinal beam that has inscriptions on both sides, supported by posts. These posts feature segmental arch and tension braces that hold up the tie-beam of the roof.
