Description
Lane Farm Farmhouse is a two-storey farmhouse built of brown brick, featuring a slate roof and later rear extensions that include a cat-slide roof. The building has three brick chimney stacks: one on each gable end and one on the rear projection. A wooden porch is centrally located on the front elevation. The eaves are decorated with brick dentilation. The front elevation also includes four iron casement windows, each with three lights, designed in a Gothic style reminiscent of those produced at John ("Iron Mad") Wilkinson's Bersham works, featuring small panes and diamond-paned heads. Above the door, there is a sash window. The interior was not accessible during the survey.
