Description
Ty Du Farmhouse is a 2-storey farmhouse built of rendered brick with a slated roof, featuring dogstooth brickwork at the eaves. To the right, there is a projecting stack with twin offset chimneys. The right side has a gabled cross-wing with a datestone inscribed "WD 1857" at the apex. The farmhouse has plain, single sash windows on both the ground and first floors, with the first-floor window on the right being narrower. Below this window, there is a single-storey gabled porch adorned with pierced bargeboards and a wooden finial, leading to a Tudor arched entrance with a 19th-century door. At the rear of the main block, there is a central outshot that includes a modern window, which was formerly an entrance, and a chimney in the west angle. Additionally, there is a single-storey gabled annex set back to the right, which features another entrance and a modern window.
