Description
Pen-y-bryn is a two-storey farmhouse with a two-room plan, featuring a central staircase and integral end stacks. At the rear, there is a catslide lean-to. The exterior is made of irregularly coursed rubblestone with distinctive wide-jointed white mortar, and the gable ends and rear are rendered. The roof is slate. The first floor has four-pane sash windows, which are smaller in size and positioned directly beneath the eaves, with slate cills on either side of a central 20th-century glazed door. The catslide lean-to at the rear has had its eaves raised and extends further to the left than originally. The interior was not accessible during the survey.
