Description
The Adult Education Centre at the University College of North Wales is a building constructed with Flemish bond brickwork and painted stone dressings, topped with a hipped slate roof. It is two storeys high and features a symmetrical layout with a central entrance that is flanked by three windows. The entrance consists of a four-panelled door set within an architrave, supported by console brackets beneath an entablature hood. On each floor, there are sash windows in stressed lugged architraves, with a similar window located above the doorway. A cornice band, supported by triple modillions, runs along the eaves. The building has end wall stacks and similar architectural details can be found on the two-window return to the right, which also includes a canted bay window that was added in the late 19th or 20th century.
