Description
90 High Street is a small two-storey urban cottage, likely built of brick, featuring a single room plan. The front elevation is smoothly rendered and has two storeys, with the central windows offset to the right and a door located on the ground floor to the left. The rendering includes a plain band at the first floor, and the steep roof is covered with slate, featuring close eaves, butted ridge tiles, and a deep brick chimney stack on the right side.
The upper window is a 6 over 6 pane horizontally sliding sash, while the lower window is a modern replacement, consisting of a 12-light fixed window with a central mullion. The door is four-panelled, with the taller upper two panels glazed and the lower two panels raised and fielded. The left gable and rear elevations are also smoothly rendered, and there is a single-storey wall that flanks the return down Clayton Road. The property has not been inspected.
